17.0902-0800 Hevea wants a Quota system

Dear Marla,
Metaphorically speaking, I had a 'conversation' with Hevea.
I asked her: "What do you want?" Metaphorically speaking.
Her response was, as always, for us to be "100% enclosed in latex, 100% of the time".
Keep in mind that Hevea is a tulpa and, as such, has shared all the sensations of my body's perceptual apparatus with me. She has seen and felt the world as I have. She is a part of me, much like my left leg is part of my body -- it is incomprehensible for me to think of it as "other".
"Are you aware that this is impossible in the real world," I asked her? "Human skin needs air, daylight and bathing now and then. There are also social obligations and things like visits to the dentist, the grocery store, etc. One cannot be in latex for those."
She pondered this this thoughtfully, smiled (metaphorically), and asked, "What if we modified that mantra to read: *the equivalent of* ~100% enclosure, ~100% of the time?"
"What does that do?" I asked.
My fetish replied, "This gives you the versatility you need to deal with exceptions. Now you can make use of layers and other challenges we have not dreamed up yet to compensate for time lost while bathing, shopping, etc."
"What do you mean," I asked.
"Ok, suppose you are going to spend an entire day with your mother in, say, Ohio. Naturally, you will not wear a speck of latex then. (She doesn't know....) This no-latex period would make you fall 24 hours short on your "100% of the time" quota. You'd 'owe' me 24 hours of Deep Rubber time. What things could you do to 'earn' 24 extra hours to pay me back?"
"Oh! You mean like wear an *extra* suit all day long? Layers are nice. "
"If one is good, then two must be better, right?" She asked mirthfully. "But let's be aware that the impact of putting on the second suit is not nearly as satisfying as the first one. We will say that the second suit has only 50% of the overall impact on you. Adding a third or even fourth layer would represent something even less each time. So, to be consistent, we'll say they 'earn': 1/3 = 33%, and 1/4 = 25%, respectively, and so on. It's easy. We'll use the number of layers as the divisor and put a one over it. If you have three layers on, the 3rd layer is 1/3 = 33% coverage. It's easy to remember and I think it is a reasonable "
The metaphorical Hevea let that sink in. "So, to get yourself back on top of your quota, for the day you owe me, you would need to wear two ~100% coverage suits layered *for three days* to wipe out your deficit."
"Huh? Why *three* days? Wouldn't it just be two? Two suits, two days." I asked.
"Think about it. The second layer is only 'worth' 50% of the 1st, so you have to wear it twice as long to be equivalent."
"Oh, yeah. Duh! I get it now." I replied, feeling stupid and embarassed.
She smiled and said. "Of course, this is not realistic. I know we cannot be ~100% enclosed for more than a few hours. " Said Hevea. "It's also essential for 'us' to bathe twice day, which means even more time lost."
"It's sounds like if I take a day off from rubber, it would take forever to make it up to you."
"Yes, that's the idea." She said mirthfully. "But It also opens the door.... drum roll, please.... to using BDSM Ordeals to earn hours. We could establish that, for example, 1/2 hour in a full hogtie, which is a rather strenuous Ordeal, might be the equivalent to, say, 8 hours of ~100% latex enclosure."
She continued. "What we need is some sort of bookkeeping system to keep track of this.
